The second season of the television anime adaptation of Masakuni Igarashi's manga series 'Tune In to the Midnight Heart' has been announced, with a 2027 debut date. The new season will feature a mostly returning staff, including director Masayuki Takahashi, scriptwriter Yukie Sugawara, character designer Tomoyuki Shitaya, and composer Kuniyuki Takahashi. The cast includes Ami Koshimizu as Riina Yamabuki, Kaede Hondo as Mito Yamabuki, and more. The first season premiered in January 2026, and the anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with an English dub. The manga is published digitally in English by Kodansha's K MANGA service, and the story follows Arisu Yamabuki's quest to find the radio host Apollo, who disappeared without explanation years ago. Igarashi launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2023, and the 14th compiled book volume will be released on August 17. Kodansha USA Publishing has also licensed the manga and released the eighth volume in July 2024.
